Cyspera—A novel intensive pigment corrector
First and only topical cream containing cysteamine hydrochloride (HCl) to diminish the appearance of stubborn skin discoloration concerns like melasma or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation that appear mostly on the cheeks, forehead, nose, and upper lip.
Skin pigmentation disorders affect the color of your skin. Your skin gets its color from a pigment called melanin. Special cells in the skin make melanin. When these cells become damaged or unhealthy, it affects melanin production. Skin discoloration or Hyperpigmentation can be caused by inflammation, hormonal stress, sun damage, or other skin injuries. People with darker skin tones are more prone to hyperpigmentation, especially with excess sun exposure.
Cyspera® contains the active ingredient cysteamine and is naturally present in human skin cells with the highest concentration found in human milk. Cysteamine reduces melanin in the skin epidermis, effectively correcting pigmented marks. Cysteamine has been formulated to work as an effective topical treatment, Cyspera®.
Cyspera® is not a photosensitizer. It can be applied regardless of the sun intensity and on any skin phototypes. The use of high SPF sunblock is highly recommended year-round for sun damage protection.
